Engineer: The Engineer has the unique ability to hold a space open with their board, preventing it from flooding on subsequent turns. 4. Professor: The Professor has knowledge of the island's layout, allowing them to see which tiles are safe to stand on and which ones are not. 5. Explorer: The Explorer can move through other characters' spaces without any risks or penalties. 6. Cartographer: The Cartographer marks a path for all players to follow, ensuring they stay together and avoid getting lost. By working together and utilizing each character's unique abilities, the team has a much better chance of escaping the island before it sinks into the sea.
