I encountered some inconvenience when using the filament replacement function during printing (M600). The motors would stall and I had to replace the rod while simultaneously squeezing the extruder handles. Seeking a way to ease the process, I stumbled upon a model - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3054903. After printing this model and testing it, I found its execution unsatisfactory. It fitted too tightly on the extruder handles and came off with difficulty. Based on this model, I designed my own, taking into account my needs and preferences. I made the model slightly wider so that it wouldn't jam on the handles. I removed the teeth - they simply got in the way. I made the hole (where the nut is screwed on) oval-shaped - this increased the amplitude of the model's opening, allowing me to easily put it on and take it off the extruder handles. The bolt and nut were printed without supports, layer thickness 0.1mm with a fill rate of 100%. I printed the main part using supports under overhanging elements and in holes, layer thickness 0.2mm and a fill rate of 25%. After printing, I glued the bolt into the model with dichloromethane.
