(For New Printer Revisions) Ender 3 Pro X-axis stepper motor damper mount
thingiverse
Both of the original mounts listed as sources for this file failed to fit my newly bought Ender 3 Pro. The X-carriage collided in multiple places with the bottom of the mount. Therefore, I reworked the file to fit perfectly on newer Ender 3 Pros (and it should fit Ender 3s as well). I also increase the size of the recessed area as the belt was not properly aligned with these dampers I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083JTC6JJ/ It fits perfectly now, and if the recessed area is too marge and the motor sits two far into the mount, you can print wedges to space it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3434296 Thanks for taking a look at my remix! Supports are required, but are easy to remove in this situation. I would STRONGLY recommend PETG for this part (and any other printer mods). It is much more heat-resistant and much less brittle than PLA. ABS/ASA should work, but I've never used either. FYI: To make the limit switch work on the X-Axis, I had to flip it around 180 degrees. Unscrew it and then screw it back in after flipping it over and you're good to go with a MUCH quieter printer!
