I gave one of my T4 clips a try, experimenting with the tolerances to see what would happen. I stuck with PLA since I couldn't afford PA, but since the originals are nylon, I'd recommend splurging on some new clips that can handle more than just a single use. It worked out for me, and hopefully it'll work for you too :D.
