My first foray into creating a cookie cutter design, I drew inspiration from numerous tutorials but infused my own twists like refining the cutting edge's thickness. This project was born in TinkerCAD (https://www.tinkercad.com/things/lMfNtZ0JXsk-footballcookie) where you can easily modify it, using just two fundamental shapes: rounded roofs and boxes set as solids or voids. Consider crafting this design from a food-safe material like PETG, which boasts superior smoothness compared to PLA in my experience. While PLA might also work, I strongly recommend opting for PETG for its enhanced performance. I utilized this cookie cutter to whip up some Super Bowl party treats using a gingerbread man cookie dough recipe. The most challenging aspect was achieving the perfect dough thickness. Please note that certain intentional overlaps between shapes contribute to added rigidity in specific areas and slightly sharper football ends.
