The belt-type fasteners and elastic straps of my football shoulder pads restrict movements and often loosen during play, leading to an improved design inspired by snowboarding boots. This innovative lace tightening mechanism allows wearers to achieve customized tightness levels while keeping the pads locked in place. The slim circular design fits on the chest section without protruding outwards. It features a cord attached to both front and back sides, which enters a coiling mechanism secured by a pin. A locking part enables the user to fix the cord's position permanently. For optimal fit, two of these devices are needed per pair of shoulder pads - one for each side (right and left).
