Foot Spacer - Ikea Brusali Shoe Cabinet
thingiverse
I designed this custom spacer to perfectly elevate the Ikea Brusali Shoe Cabinet. Since my wall base trim is slightly taller than the one the cabinet was originally designed for, I needed a solution to raise it by exactly 3.6cm. This spacer ensures that the back of the cabinet rests snugly against the wall as intended. To secure the spacer in place, apply glue or double-sided tape directly to the foot of the cabinet. The weight of the cabinet will rest squarely on the spacers, providing a stable and even foundation. Each cabinet requires two spacers, but they are identical so you can use either one on the left or right side. I 3D printed this spacer in PLA with 35% infill and no supports for added strength and durability. If you'd like to adjust the height of your spacer, simply use a slicer to scale the model along the z-axis.
