This is part of Andy Southern's New Year's Resolution (Days 9 & 10) where he aims to upload one printable design every day in 2015. To assemble this two-part system, a single 3mm hole needs to be drilled through the object requiring support, and then attached to a base or surface. Andy allows you to mass produce or sell items made from these prints for free - as no rights are reserved. The standard procedure for installing the support involves placing the end of it under compression between a solid object and the case it's supporting. This ensures that pressure is applied correctly without relying on the 3mm thread, which may compromise structural integrity. Please note that you don't need to print from the low-resolution model - its only purpose is to give users an idea of how all the pieces fit together. To use the provided assembly correctly, make sure you insert the filament's end into the pre-drilled hole and then proceed with assembling it. You can even try different color schemes while printing this design. The given instructions are quite simple: print the separate parts, drill a hole in the main piece and use some Acetone to fuse the support to your object.
