Foot Pedal for Bissel Model 3525 Vacuum Cleaner

I designed this replacement pedal for my vacuum cleaner after the original's "spring" component snapped, which secures the vacuum in its upright position. This pedal is responsible for locking the vacuum into place. I'm not confident that the spring in my design will withstand the same amount of stress as the original, so I may need to adjust its thickness if this one fails. I created it using DesignSpark Mechanical and by measuring the broken part's dimensions. UPDATE: The PLA part broke after about four and a half months of use. I'm going to try an ABS copy before re-examining the design.
