Human: Improved Foot Mount Design for V-Slot Aluminum Extrusion \r\n\r\n Designed to Replace Inefficient Sigma3d Foot Mounts \r\n\r\n The design flaw in the original Sigma3d foot mounts led to a cone-shaped mount attached to an aluminum extrusion via a long, thin screw, resulting in excessive vibrations.\r\n\r\n My solution aims to rectify this issue and enhance system robustness by introducing a new foot mount design.\r\n\r\n The proposed part features four short screws of equal diameter, securing it firmly to the aluminum extrusion. \r\n\r\n At the opposite end, a 3D printed rubber foot mount connects via two bolts, providing approximately 5mm of adjustable height for optimal stability and vibration reduction.
