To create space beneath my Makerbot Replicator 2, I used double-sided tape on the bottom if I didn't mind potential damage for easy removal later. Alternatively, rubber bumpers can be used, requiring three per leg and available at Home Depot. For optimal printing settings, use an infill of 10%, two shells, a layer height of 0.30 mm, without raft or supports. Extruding speed should be set to 90mm, traveling speed at 150mm, with an average material usage of 22g per piece and a print time of approximately 75 minutes each. To complete four pieces, expect to use an average of 88g of material and a total print time of five hours.
