Foodsaver Ultra Vacuum Hose Attachment
thingiverse
This is the adapter that connects to my vintage (late 1990s) Foodsaver Ultra. Simply attach the hose to one end and then route the hose through to the canister attachment or another accessory, such as the model shown in the background featuring the old adapter, hose, and canister attachment. You will typically need this same adapter at both ends of the hose. The modern Foodsavers also utilize the same design, although the shape of the part you grasp has undergone a transformation. As long as the plug portion of the adapter remains unchanged, this should be compatible with your model. I designed this piece using Fusion 360 and printed it on my Ender-3 while employing Cura for slicing. Key slicer settings include: Layer: 0.08 Infill: 100% PLA print temperature: 195 degrees Fahrenheit Initial print temperature: 200 degrees Fahrenheit Build plate temperature: 70 degrees Celsius Print speed: 40 mm/sec to ensure superior results on overhangs and remarkably smooth walls Support: Yes, with the support touching the buildplate Experimental settings: Overhang wall angle: 45 degrees Overhand wall speed: 80 percent I have included both the Cura gcode file and the Fusion 360 f3d file for your convenience. This part was printed in PLA but unfortunately broke due to excessive force applied to the tubing. ABS would be a far more suitable material choice for this component.
