This food funnel is designed for general-purpose use. The neck is sized to fit a standard 8oz canning jar comfortably. To ensure the food funnel is safe, it's crucial to use food-grade plastic when 3D printing. PLA is widely accepted as a food-safe material, but it's essential to note that 3D printing inherently poses some risks due to its porous nature. This means that organic materials can potentially become trapped in the voids of a printed object. For example, I only use this funnel to pour frozen vegetables from a bag into a canning jar, which is likely safe. However, it's best not to use this funnel for any meat or animal products at all.
