Tray Extension for Non-Branded Food Dehydrators Used as Filament Dryers 275 mm (10.8 in) or 330 mm (13 in) diameter dehydrators can be utilized to dry filament with the aid of a tray extension. Please note that I have not tested the sizing of any 330 mm parts, as I do not own a food dehydrator of this size. If you encounter problems with these pieces, please let me know via comment or message. The extension is divided into four quarters. One version has an M5 hole for screwing in a Bowden adapter, another is solid, and the third features a space to mount a temperature and humidity gauge, which I have not tested as I do not own one. Separate mounting pieces are available for both sizes, allowing for flexibility in setup. The gauge used as reference has a 25 x 45 mm mounting hole, similar to this one: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-LCD-Meter-Temperature-Humidity-Thermometer-Hygrometer-Vivarium-Reptile-BI701/262996361073?epid=20016010829&hash=item3d3bcdff71:g:8YIAAOSwPcBbMQIY This version is not designed for stacking. If there is sufficient demand, a stacking version can be created at a later time. Printing with PETG or ABS is recommended to withstand high temperatures without deformation. However, these pieces are fairly thick and may hold up well if PLA is used. A brim is highly recommended, but supports are not necessary.
