Another fantastic addition to our line of High-Quality Music Coasters, and arguably the most modern band I'm paying tribute to is the Foo Fighters! The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, etc. may still be around, but the Foos are undoubtedly the newcomers on the scene. And what talent! What raw energy! Formed in 1994 by Dave Grohl, Nirvana's legendary drummer following Kurt Cobain's passing, the Foo Fighters started out as a solo project. Initially, Dave played every instrument on their debut album, even the drums. Impressive? Absolutely! And when you consider he's also an incredible guitarist, bassist, and vocalist... You'd think I'd resent him, but no way - I have immense respect for his talents and kindness. After all, few rockers match his humble nature, which puts Brian May in a class of his own as one of the kindest guys out there. Fast forward to a fully-formed band, and the Foo Fighters conquered the world with incredible albums. Proper music at its best! This Music Coaster features the simple yet effective Foos logo on its face and three pre-drilled holes at the back for neodymium magnets (order separately).
