#Perfect Fountain with a Laminar Flow, Watch the Video Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4v2gd_WpwE *The instructions to build this are available in the YouTube video description above. Electronic components listed below.* **Files in .step format are available for the laminar tube and nozzle if you want to make modifications. Modification and sharing are allowed, but commercial use is prohibited.** Thanks to https://www.thingiverse.com/Must_Energie/about for helping create these models.
Important Details About Printing
====================
Common settings for all parts:
Plastic: **PLA** Layer thickness: **0.2mm** Raft: **No**
Laminar Tube:
The central tube of the laminar filter should be printed with a **grid infill**. This is what creates the "tubes" inside the cylinder. In my video, I use a 50% infill, which creates about 17 squares on the diameter of the cylinder. You can also set the upper and lower layer thickness to 0mm or 0 layers so that the cylinder is directly open. Otherwise, you will need to cut off the "cap" at the bottom and stop printing a few layers before the end so that the cylinder is open. Infill: **50%** Supports: **No** Print orientation: **Vertical** --- ### Nozzle: Infill: **25%** Supports: **No** Print orientation: **Flat side down** --- ### Entrance Cap: Infill: **25%** Supports: **No** Print orientation: **Lat side down** --- ### Channel Connector: To be printed in 2 copies Infill: **100%** Supports: **No** Print orientation: **Vertical, head down** to ensure the diameter of the cylindrical part --- ### Container: Infill: **15%** Supports: **Yes, lines** Heated bed: **Yes, it's a large piece** Print orientation: **Face up** M3x25 screw for closing the box --- ### Box: Infill: **15%** Supports: **Yes, lines** Heated bed: **Yes, it's a large piece** Print orientation: **Face up** Preferably scrape the edges with a file to properly fit the container and box together. ================== #Electronic Components For beginners, start with an Ender-3 PRO 3D printer: https://bit.ly/Ender3ProXPBOY 12V pump: https://bit.ly/Pompe12VXPBOY Aquarium tube: Crystal Tube **8x11mm** from a hardware store NOTE: diameter is 9mm on this link, not tested (risk of leaks) https://bit.ly/TubeAquarium9mmXPBOY Regulator: https://bit.ly/DCStepDown5AXPBOY Potentiometer: https://bit.ly/Potard10KXPBOY Light switch: https://bit.ly/SWPower12mmXPBOY Femelle DC Jack: https://bit.ly/JackDCWaterproofXPBOY 12V power supply: https://bit.ly/Alim12V2AXPBOY M3 kit: https://bit.ly/KitVisM3XPBOY
