These font test cards are designed to evaluate which fonts and font sizes work best for 3D model extrusion. The Arial card actually features Arial Rounded MT Bold. The multiple-font card is standardized at a height of 7mm. To determine if a font is safe for use on a 3D printer, the following criteria must be met: Can the text be easily read? Do all characters print properly when scaled to the same size? Are there any printing anomalies caused by specific font characteristics? Can individual characters be recognized through touch? Is the font open-source or widely available?
