Follow Focus Speed Crank
thingiverse
This follow-focus speed crank operates with incredible efficiency! Be certain to apply CA glue securely to the knob on the handleshaft. A print-in-place ball bearing resides within the crank lug, where it's perfectly positioned for optimal performance. I strongly advise printing the threaded handleshaft vertically, utilizing a super wide brim to ensure a smooth finish. Similarly, print the knob vertically with the opening facing downwards, using a super wide brim as well to prevent any warping. When threading in the shaft to the lug, apply a small amount of light lubricant to facilitate a snug fit without straining the threads. To achieve the strongest possible construction, print the crankshaft horizontally, just as it's designed in the file. A raft and supports will be essential in this orientation, allowing the ball bearing and threads to function seamlessly together.
