Folgertech Prusa i3 Acrylic Y Axis Linear Bearing Block
thingiverse
This is a game-changing Y axis bearing block that seamlessly integrates with the classic Prusa i3 Acrylic. I picked up my Prusa i3 Acrylic and noticed that the instructions consistently called for using zip ties to secure the bearings directly to the acrylic Y axis bracket. This innovative bracket eliminates the need for zip ties, allowing you to mount the bearing in a way that's both precise and efficient. To assemble this model, you'll need two 15mm M3 screws (20mm screws will also work nicely) and two M3 nuts. Additionally, you'll require two zip ties, preferably small ones. With these components at hand, simply push the nut into the holes on either side until you can see through the screw hole clearly. Next, insert the zip ties and secure everything in place with the screws to the acrylic plate.
