The goal is to swap the subpar FT-5 extruder with a Prusa extruder that utilizes the E3Dv6 hotend or a compatible clone. To accomplish this, you'll need an E3Dv6 or clone hotend, a MK9 pinion gear to pull the filament, one 30x30mm fan, one 40mm radial fan, and the Prusa extruder parts, which should also be printed in ABS. I'm adding the MK2 Prusa extruder files along with some G-code samples for printing on a Prusa i3 MK2 if you have access to one or simply print them on your FT-5 to see what results.
