The goal is to swap the low-quality FT-5 extruder with a Prusa extruder that uses an E3Dv6 hotend or a clone of it. To do this, you will need to obtain the E3Dv6 or clone hotend, a MK9 pinion gear to pull the filament, one 30x30mm fan, one 40mm radial fan, and the Prusa extruder parts that should also be printed in ABS. I'm including the MK2 Prusa extruder files and a few G-code examples that can be printed on a Prusa i3 MK2 if you have access to one or simply print them on your FT-5 and see what results come out. Print in ABS at 40% infill or so, with two or three perimeters and tops.
