Replacement spool holder for the FT-5 designed to stay clear of the frame's edge without compromising functionality or aesthetics. The need for a custom solution arose from the desire to have a 3D printed part that perfectly suited my needs. This design is specifically crafted to work seamlessly with 20mm 80/20 extrusion, ensuring a secure and stable fit. A precision-sized hole accommodates an M5 socket head cap screw, providing a reliable means of attachment. The spool holder has been successfully paired with another design, available on Thingiverse under the ID: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1985861. A crucial modification was made to eliminate the inner hole, preventing potential jamming issues caused by the socket head cap screw with the filament spool.
