The Y axis bears an excessive weight load and is crucial to maintaining its stiffness. Without the plates in place, the Linear rails are solely supported by the bottom plate and two screws, while the Z axis rods also offer some support. However, transferring stress to these components is not ideal for minimizing bed wobble. Standard T-plates cannot be used due to the rail's dimensions and the Y-stop fixture's position, which exceeds the 2020 by a few millimeters. To secure these plates effectively, use M5 10mm screws and T-nuts. It's also essential to employ stiff plastic and 100% infill in their construction, ideally with a nozzle size that prevents excessive material extrusion.
