Needed a straightforward spool holder to replace the low-performing acrylic part that comes in the kits and does poorly with the Rev B design. I lacked any 8mm rod, so redesigned it to fit a 3/8 inch threaded rod (readily available in the US) and 3/8 inch flange bearings. Instructions Print both towers. Mounting holes are marginally undersized, so enlarge them to size and secure with M4x10mm bolts and T-nuts. Assemble using a one-foot length of 3/8 inch rod, some 3/8-inch nuts, and two 3/8 by 1-1/8 radial bearings (Hillman 838626 or comparable). Adjust the spacing so that the spool rides on the bearings.
