When you crank down on the cooling fan of your Folger Tech 2020 extruder, it starts to warp the fan out of shape. But don't worry, this easy-to-make spacer steps in to save the day, filling the gap between the fan and the heat sink. It prevents any distortion from occurring. You can also make one with a slightly different diameter fan if you happen to have that model. It's worth noting that the hole is designed to be a bit oversized on purpose, allowing for some flexibility when working with fans of varying dimensions. The best part about this spacer is just how simple it is - no fuss or complicated designs required! It's almost as if you can't even call it engineering. The new version has some extra clearance added in, making the fit slightly looser than the first one, which was a very snug affair.
