These brackets were created to secure the Amazon Signstek Tempered Borosilicate Glass Plate in place without relying on binder clips. This glass was designed specifically (similar sized glasses may also work!): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QQ5Q3BI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 Print two brackets exactly as they are, and two mirrored parts as well. I used the same screws provided with the kit to assemble these brackets, although slightly longer screws might be needed in certain cases. Sorry for the unsightly print quality; apparently, my first layer height was off by a bit. Edit 1: Just uploaded Version 2 with countersunk mounting screw holes. Edit 2: In pursuit of the ultimate Glass Hold-down Clamp, I've added another version (Version 3) that features a small lip to keep the glass firmly in place against the Heated Bed. It should rotate out of the way for easy removal and cleaning; I'll test it tonight and share the results soon. Print Settings Printer: Folger-Tech 2020 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .20mm Infill: 100% Notes: Print the following: QTY (2) Brackets, QTY (2) Mirrored Brackets. Note: If you're printing the countersunk version, feel free to orient it as needed and use supports if desired; I recommend flipping it face down like the original with support. Post-Printing Mounting Details DO NOT drill out the 3mm mounting holes, they are undersized for a reason. This design allows the screws to be screwed in place (locked) securely. Screw them in until they just stop turning (snug), then install the brackets and add the thumbscrews (nuts). This will keep the screws from spinning when adjusting your bed level. Although I use auto-bed leveling, I still like my bed as level as possible. How I Designed This The design was created using Solidworks with easy removal/replacement in mind. I love printing on glass, but never liked binder clips or having anything protruding above its surface. So, I designed these brackets for my Folger-Tech printer and the specified glass size. Yes, the button head screws are still above the surface, but they're not in the print area. I'll post a version with countersinks for those who prefer it. Otherwise, they do exactly what I want: keep the glass secure while printing yet allow for quick removal/ replacement for cleaning. I have two identical pieces of glass, and they switch out perfectly (your mileage may vary). If you need custom adjustments for your glass or printer, just let me know, and I'll do my best to help!
