I am using the 713Maker Gantry kit which changes the Y end-stops in real-time. This bracket mounts the Y end-stop securely off the left rear 2020 upright frame. Version one was made out of high-quality PLA and displayed on the build plate for all to see. To make version two even better, I trimmed it down and used PETG instead. The design was originally created for optical end stops, but it also works perfectly with mechanical ones - just a tiny bit close to the PCB lead cutout. For mechanical endstops, simply trim off the flag. Update: Gantry Flag model is now complete and ready to use! The optical Endstops I purchased required inverting the logic in firmware because they were triggering when sensors were unblocked, and remained open when blocked. This results in extremely repeatable positioning - within just one step. I'm doing a happy dance with excitement! Update: A new end cap version for mechanical end stops has been uploaded. Now you don't need to clip off the flag, and there's a wide flat spot for the switch to trigger on. The Gantry End comes equipped with built-in support for the flag. Place your FT5 on the print bed and it will print like a pro! The parts were designed for a 0.4 nozzle and should slice fine with default extrusion width of 0.4mm.
