I was looking for extra workspace at the office but didn't want it cluttering up the space all the time. So, a foldable solution had to be created. The plate can be easily removed whenever needed. For this project, I used a sturdy 6mm thick piece of waterproof material from the hardware store measuring 650x400x6cm. I required one M10x80 screw with an M10 nut for securing it in place. A washer for M10 with 30mm outer dimension was necessary to support the hinge. Additional parts included some M4 screws with nuts, wooden screws, and a single M3x20 countersunk screw with nut. The wooden stand is actually a plank that's been collecting dust in a corner of the room. It measures 700x300x19.5mm, which fits perfectly under my table at the standard height.
