The aim for the folding pusher propeller on the HDwing series was to create a visually appealing, lightweight unit that would complement the fuselage's contours. The weight reduction was crucial in addressing the center of gravity issues of an earlier airframe model as well as minimizing overall weight. A Hobby King 10 x 6 blade propeller, as described and available here (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=19818), was used for this design. Additionally, a small series of an earlier version of the hub/spinner has been successfully manufactured.
