The one supplied was basically a cardboard part that failed at the hinge (no surprise there).</p><p>I roughed up the smaller part where it connected to the back of the frame to ensure good glue adhesion.</p><p>This is based on the existing stand that is designed to work in either Portrait or Landscape.</p><h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: Replacement Parts Summary</h3><p>This is a replacement stand for a picture frame. But I struggled to get the filament in to the holes. I was going to drill them out a little, but instead used a piece of 'tie wire' that I had lying around. This worked really well.<br/>If you plan to use filament as the hinge pin, you will want to increase the hole size to accommodate some more clearance.</p><p>You could also create this with an integrated hinge but wanted to keep the hinge pin small and tighter.</p><h3>How I Designed This</h3><p>The main part was basically a trace of the existing part.</p><p>It is worth noting that the hinge has an incorporated 'stop' built in. If you want a larger pivot movement, you can adjust this landing angle.</p>
