Folding knife with blade lock

The knives typically feature a rocker and a spring that securely holds the blade in place when open. Printing a PLA spring doesn't yield impressive results, so I designed this knife model using a flip-flop as the blade lock. Just press on the rounded part of the handle to release and fold the knife (the clearance between the handle and pin is minimized for secure holding without glue, you may need to apply gentle pressure to snap it in place). Easily printable in just 4 parts, all made from PLA. Simply clip together the two halves of the handle after positioning the blade and tilting it slightly (see photo). If you need to disassemble the knife, carefully pry around the handle to avoid breaking the lugs. Perfect for opening mail or as a decorative piece!
