Folding knife liner lock
thingiverse
I designed this folding knife because I have a passion for knives and assembling objects. I didn't give much thought to the space between the parts, so some sanding will be necessary to fit them together properly. You'll also need to apply glue to one part of the assembly. My knife was printed in black PLA. When you remove the support material, you might need to smooth out the handle a bit since it tends to stick well to the support. The liner lock comes as a separate piece and will need to be attached to the handle using super glue. There are two different blade models available; I recommend choosing the pointier one because I think it looks better. You might wonder why there's a screw on the picture - I added it to make the blade more stable since the two knobs don't attach together securely. Remember, this knife was not intended for use as a weapon; it was simply created out of curiosity and a desire to learn how things work. The blade is not sharp enough to cut through objects easily.
