Folding handle - Radiomaster TX16S Jumper T16
thingiverse
EDIT 5 AUG 2020: I designed this for my Jumper T16, which works well with the Radiomaster TX16S too, since it came out after I created this design. The original handle that comes with the Jumper T16 was too large to fit easily in my backpack. To solve this problem, I created a foldable handle that replaces the standard one. This new handle consists of 2 hinges that attach to the back plate of your T16. The two hinges are mirrored, so you'll need one of each. You can reuse the bolts that hold the original Jumper handle in place. Next, you'll need to attach the handle to these 2 hinges using M3 bolts. When they're 10mm long, they should fit snugly. I only had one 12mm and one 16 mm bolt, so mine stick out a bit. However, it still works fine. The handle itself is 11.5 cm wide and about 8 cm long. Together with the hinges, the handle will stick out about 9 cm from the back of the radio. If you prefer a shorter or longer handle, you can easily adjust the lengths in your preferred 3D design package. The handles are square, so they're easy to extend or cut shorter. Yes, you'll need to open the T16 to remove the default handle, but there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to do this simple task. EDIT 12 MAY 2020 - I added 3 new handles with different lengths: 56mm, 76mm, and 96mm. When attached to the hinges, they'll stick out about 7 cm, 9 cm, and 11 cm respectively. Choose the one that suits your preference best.
