Folding fan blades
thingiverse
I recently purchased a low-cost travel fan featuring short, soft, foam blades. Packing it was effortless and extremely safe, but unfortunately, it circulated very little air and made an excessive amount of noise. I decided to attempt creating a stiffer blade that would fold down for storage purposes. This is the outcome. It operates extremely quietly and produces a soothing, gentle breeze.
