Folding Door Opener and Utility Hook

Folding Door Opener and Utility Hook

This is my innovative approach to a door opening tool that empowers you to open public doors without physically touching them. While numerous designs already exist, mine stands out due to its unique feature: the contaminated portion of the tool conveniently folds into the handle, keeping your pockets spotless and germ-free. The tool also doubles as a button pushing tool, making it an indispensable asset for navigating elevators. When unfolded, the device transforms into a versatile utility S-hook that enables you to hang purses or backpacks off the ground, ensuring they remain untethered and easily accessible. In addition, the hook functions as a practical bag carrier, providing a convenient means of carrying your belongings without manual assistance. A lever lock on the handle secures the hook in place, preventing it from folding unintentionally and compromising its functionality. Assembly requires (3) M3x8mm button head screws and (1) M3x6mm socket cap head screw. A small amount of cyanoacrylate glue is also necessary to secure the hinge portion of the tool. I've included the SketchUp source file in the accompanying list for your reference.
