DNA Model Kit Deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA, is the amazing molecule that powers all life on Earth. Despite its crucial role in every single moment of our lives, few people truly grasp its elegance and purpose. This incredible DNA scale model showcases key structural features including base pairing, the classic double helix, and major and minor grooves. Because it's modular, you can add as many pieces as you want to make the model even longer! You can also separate the strands to highlight important concepts such as base pairing, codons, or DNA replication and mutations. Print different colors for the four bases and backbone to reveal their connection. An affordable model perfect for classrooms everywhere. Fun fact: Each cell in our bodies contains a precise copy of our genome, comprising about 3 billion base pairs. That means making a scale model of just one cell's DNA would be like wrapping around the Earth's equator nearly 1.25 times!
