Folding Cupholder Print in Place
thingiverse
This is a folding cupholder that's entirely print in place. The base is hinged with hard stops at 90 degrees for the cup to rest on. The arms raise up, then slide outwards to lock themselves in place with a small spring latch to hold them in that position. This is a difficult print with print in place hinges and significant bridging. Design features try and force the slicer to bridge in a sensible way but it may still warrant some attention in the slicer. Sagging bridges result in fused pieces that will need to be pried apart. In my experience this print requires careful separation after printing but functions well after that. Video: https://youtu.be/c17OVScX3CU
