I was searching for a retention device that would stay securely attached to my motorcycle when I used the fast food drive-thru window at high speeds. This design prints flat with a clever print-in-place hinge, allows me to easily hold the cup ring steady at 90 degrees while loading the cup, and takes up minimal space in my top or side pannier bag. I decided to print mine using PETG material, which is known for its ability to withstand extremely high temperatures.
