First of all: Austin_Bradley230, thank you for the original model! Grat model and I decided to finetune it. I have four boys, so I need to print it five times :) and it must be working well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWH8k4s44dk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLRuLkABT5Q Remix: - adjusted size of blade parts to work better - created the lock/trigger mechanism - adjusted blade tip size to sit on the blade - created opened handle with plug - locked by piece of filament => possible to open and replace blade parts - closed handle is strongened in the join of handle and original 'plug' INSTRUCTIONS: Each object is already prepared in the best position for printing. Printing blade [1-5] (IMPORTANT!!!) - Print very slowly with no stringing (adjust your retractions). - Ensure there will be retraction for short movements (minimal retraction movement distance 0.5mm). - Mix printing order => not to print neighbors each after other but in different order (this eliminates stringing connecting neighbors). - For 0.4 nozzle: using Classic (not Arachne) perimeter generator + fill gaps => stronger print. Handle + Plug - Put pieces of filament into the holes to lock the plug in the handle. - To open the plug use another piece of filament (or 1.5 mm allen key) to get these out. - Glue some soft staff on the inner side of the plug - this eliminates the hits of blade when sliding in. Lock/Trigger - Use standard rubber band (doubled) to make it working! Guard base - Use your power to put [guard base] onto the [handle]. Tight but possible.
