Folding cloth bin label holder tag
thingiverse
I designed a custom project for my wife, who wanted easy-to-attach label holders on folding cloth boxes so she could easily identify what's inside each one by applying P-touch labels directly onto the holders. To accommodate the various box sizes, I made available the 123D Design file for this item as well. This project has been featured in the article Home factory: Short-run manufacturing with your 3D printer. It is part of my 3D Printing Discovery Series on ZDNet's DIY-IT column and YouTube. Printer Settings: Brand: MakerBot Model: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Notes: The 3D file prints three at a time, resulting in some stringy bits when printing in batches of three. However, these are easy to remove. Printing a batch of three overnight is more convenient than reprinting one tag at a time, especially if you need to print multiple tags. I set the limit to three because it takes about 12 hours to print. This way, if I have other work for the printer, I'm not stuck waiting 30 hours for ten tags to print.
