This is a bracket to hold a standard 12V 120mm fan and an activated carbon sponge that can be purchased here - http://ali.ski/WIUbf. You can salvage the fan from any old PC power supply unit. The fan sucks soldering fumes from under your nose and filters them through the sponge, saving you from irritation in your eyes and lungs. There are standalone fans for sale, of course, but mine gets mounted on top of the soldering station, saving space - the AC/DC power supply for the fan can be hidden inside the soldering station itself. I suggest using a 9V power supply instead of 12V - the fan will work more quietly, but still powerful enough. Be careful when removing the cover of the soldering station, disconnect mains voltage first! Double check all wiring before plugging the soldering station in! Make sure that mounting screws don't touch the circuitry of the soldering station from inside! Information on Russian is available at https://mysku.ru/blog/aliexpress/56172.html.
