A group in my class I'm teaching asked to create a 3D printable foldable bottle opener. I decided to take on the challenge myself. They had theirs fit inside a 34 x 44 x 9 mm space, so I designed mine to match that size. Print it as a solid object. Use 3mm filament for hinge pins. I printed my design on a Stratasys Uprint, which has great accuracy, so I kept the clearance between moving parts very small (.1mm). I included the Solidworks file if anyone wants to modify it or doesn't have Solidworks; just let me know and I'll post a version with your preferred clearance.
