Folding bicycle carry Handle
myminifactory
This carry handle is designed to securely attach to the frame of your folding bicycle using either Velcro straps or cable ties. It's engineered to stay out of the way while riding, adding no unwanted weight to the bike and making it easier to transport your bicycle. With a soft and comfortable grip that won't cause discomfort even after extended use, this handle is ideal for individuals with hand problems like arthritis. This design was inspired by an elderly gentleman I witnessed struggling to grasp his bike at a busy London tube station. If I hadn't assisted him, he would have missed his train. This experience sparked the idea of making it easier for everyone to handle their bicycles. The carry handle conforms to the shape of your bicycle frame when attached. Even if printed from PLA or ABS, the handle remains functional as a rigid model. It can be fitted to any folding bike, including A-bike, Bike Friday, Birdy, Bootie, Bridgestone Picnica, Brompton Bicycle, Dahon, Di Blasi, KHS Bicycles, Melon Bicycles, Montague Bikes, Raleigh Twenty, Strida, Swift Folder, and Tern. Additionally, the carry handle can be used with mountain bikes, racing bikes, or trick bikes. The attached STL file features smart support that can be easily removed by snapping it off, as shown in the provided video. The STL has been optimized to include five notches for extra support, although the example photos depict only three notches.
