Folding 450 Quadcopter
thingiverse
This quad, designed using SketchUp, folds compactly into a 12" x 8" x 3" envelope and expands to a 450-sized frame. Constructed from 1/2" square dowels, it features 6.25" boom arms attached with M3-25 screws and nuts, motor mounts secured with the same size fasteners, and sandwich-style boom arm placement for accuracy. The battery box and NAZA brackets are connected with M3-12 screws and nuts, while motors are affixed to motor brackets via M3-8 screws. ESCs are zip-tied to the boom arms, resulting in a 30oz quadcopter including battery.
