I'm proud to show off one of many 3D designs made by my talented 3rd grade students! Working in small groups, these young engineers applied the engineering design process to tackle their client's challenge head-on. Their client was a classroom teacher who desperately needed a way to tame the chaos on her cluttered desk - folders and materials were taking over! The group hatched a brilliant solution: a wall-mounted or desk-side organizer that could be mounted flat, too! To secure it firmly in place, we used double-sided foam tape.
