I took the initiative to design my own foldarap 3.5, building upon the concept of a folding printer that had initially sparked my interest. However, I soon realized that certain design choices made during the project didn't quite meet my expectations. In response, I decided to create an improved version tailored to my needs. The files accompanying this build are not perfectly organized and may exhibit some imperfections. Rather than meticulously constructing them from scratch, I opted for a more expedient approach by combining designs in 3D builder that effectively provided the desired functionalities. With minimal adjustments, nearly all components were printed using PLA filament, featuring five perimeters and an infill of 20%. In contrast, the spool holder was printed with PETG to better withstand the repeated snapping on and off.
