Foldable Outlet Phone Charging Station
thingiverse
This is a foldable phone charging station that mounts securely to an electrical outlet using a sturdy screw. The tray and wire organizer cleverly unfold to cradle your phone while it charges, then neatly collapse when not in use. It's engineered to be printed entirely without supports, though reliable bridging capability is essential. You'll need a longer #8 screw for installation. This innovative design is conceptually based on Anthony Smith's original creation, but has been thoroughly reworked to minimize material usage, integrate it into a single part, and make it foldable. The tapered hinge design draws inspiration from J-Max's pioneering work in this instructable. It was designed and meticulously modeled in SolidWorks. Printed with a precise 0.2 mm layer height using PLA with 30% infill for optimal results.
