Update 15-MAR-2020 (V43): - An optional battery tray is added. - A top frame with an optional cavity for an R/C receiver and holes for M3 nuts below domes is included. - An adapter with optional holes for M2.5 nut below domes is also provided. --------------------------------- The FNQ220 (Foldable Nano Quadrocopter) Version 2 arrives, bringing many features, bugfixes, and improvements compared to the original version. After three years of field testing and multiple builds with various configurations, this V2 model is now available with file version V.39. Most parameters are accessible through "Customizer Parameters", making it easy to experiment with different settings using the Openscad Customizer tool offline. The basic setup is tailored to 2018 components, including: - A recommended motor size of 1306 3100kv (easy to assemble into the boom). - Propellers in a 5" size are still the default choice, such as Gemfan 5030. - Flight controllers should be in a 20x20 or 30.5x30.5 footprint (e.g. Omnibus nano or Pico BLX). - ESCs in a 4in1 layout simplify wiring and reduce soldering requirements. - Neopixel boom variants are optional, experimental features. - An FPV-cam holder is available as an option. - Different covers, including a GPS dome for INAV "return to home" enthusiasts, are also included. Refer to the pictures for detailed comparisons between this V2 and the original V1 version. Assemble the quad using nylon screws M3 and use nylon M2.5 for ESCs and FCs; steel screws are not required. Have fun printing, assembling, and flying the FNQ!
