Foldable Laptop stand

Foldable Laptop stand

I like to be able to use two screens at my desk at work, so I designed this folding stand that I can stand my laptop in to give a two screen setup with my monitor.

I've made it foldable to make it smaller so that it can fit in my bag at the end of the day.

I printed it in Black PETG, after numerous warped attempts in ABS. I didn't try PLA as I didn't think that that would be strong enough.

My Dell Latitude E5450 fits nicely with the arms separated by 220mm.

To complete the stand, you'll need:

1 x LH moving arm
1 x RH moving arm
1 x LH main arm
1 x RH moving arm
2 x plugs
2 x M6 threaded rod, 250mm long
1 x M6 threaded rod, 220mm long
6 x M6 Nyloc nuts
6 x M6 washers
6 x M6 plain nuts

It's a fiddle to get it assembled and might take some sanding. It doesn't need any glue.

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: foldable laptop stand, Laptop stand, vertical laptop stand

Category: Office Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: Prusa Mk2

Rafts: No

Supports: Doesn't Matter

Resolution: 0.25

Infill: 20%

How I Designed This

Designed with FreeCAD 0.16
