If you like this 3D project, please kindly vote for my Instructables. I'm still working on this project, so some changes might be made next! The last update was: fixing the body bottom mesh for the Slic3r slicer engine on January 24th. I've also removed a weakness spot near the rear arm motor and separated all arms to print flat against the bed. Additionally, I moved other modifications to Remix. Check out my YouTube video where I finished the first version of the mini gimbal and am still tweaking the BGC configuration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CRgjGHmq7c (January 14th). Other updates include adding a head cover without a GPS box on January 11th, fixing body bottom arm holes on January 9th, testing extended landing skirts on January 7th, and printing all parts except the optional extended landing skirt on January 6th. I used a spring for the snapping mechanism on folding arms in this new remix. Some of its features include a bigger body compartment, a bottom plate for accessing from below, a GPS box, longer arm supports for higher clearance, but smaller space for the gimbal and camera. You can also support me at https://www.patreon.com/mwilmar. Print settings: I used a Reprap i3 printer with 0.2mm resolution, 50% infill, and all parts except arms with 100% infill using PLA. I sliced the model using Cura Engine.
